What KoloPlus is
KoloPlus is a Ukrainian social platform and a living space for our own people: posts, communities, friends, messaging, listings and a game arena in one place. We are building a circle where Ukrainians stick together — at home and abroad.
The name “KoloPlus” comes from the word kolo (circle) — circles of friends, circles of community, circles of trust. The “Plus” is everything useful we add on top of an ordinary feed: our own economy, fair play, tools for listings and a safe space without toxicity. The portal runs in Ukrainian, for people who want to stay in their own cultural and language environment.
Why we do it
Many Ukrainians are scattered across countries and apps. Communication is fragmented: friends in one messenger, listings in random groups, community news somewhere else. We want to gather this in one clear place, where a person can find fellow countrymen, ask a question, arrange help, exchange things and simply feel they are not alone.
For Ukrainians in Czechia and other European countries this matters even more. A new country means a pile of practical questions: documents, housing, work, school for the children, language. KoloPlus is designed so that a circle of people who have already walked this path is always nearby.
What is inside
The portal consists of several connected parts, and each solves its own task:
- Posts and feed — share thoughts, photos and video, discuss what matters, support each other.
- Communities — themed circles by interest, city or cause, with their own rules and moderation.
- Comrades — a social graph of trust: add friends, see mutual acquaintances, build your network.
- Messaging — private messages and group chats for conversations not meant for everyone.
- Listings — work, housing, services, things: what a person really needs in a new place.
- Wallet and Exchange — an in-game economy with transparent exchange rules.
- Arena — a game module with fair fights, ratings and seasonal competitions.

Our principles
KoloPlus is built on a few simple but firm principles:
Transparency
We say openly how the portal works: what the rules in communities are, how the game economy is counted, where and when ads appear. No hidden mechanics working against the user.
Privacy control
You decide what others see about you. Visibility settings, a block list, control over who can write and comment — all of it is in your hands. More in the guide “Safety and privacy”.
A lively but healthy community
We are for lively conversation but against bullying, spam and manipulation. Moderation, reports and clear rules exist so the circle stays safe for everyone, including teenagers and newcomers.
A Ukrainian environment
Interface, support and community — in Ukrainian. This is a place where the language and culture are not marginal but central.
Advertising and monetisation
So the portal can live and grow, some of its pages may carry advertising. We keep it controlled: ads appear only where there is real content, never disguise themselves as the interface and never collect excess data. We write about this openly, because honesty about monetisation is part of respect for a person.
