KoloPlus portal updates

Developing KoloPlus is continuous work. We do not chase loud “features for the sake of features” but focus on what genuinely makes the portal more useful, safer and more pleasant. Below are the main directions we work on.

Security and privacy

We give the most attention to protecting users. That means constantly strengthening account security, improving privacy controls, guarding against abuse and taking particular care of the safety of minors. Security is not one-off work but a direction we move in all the time. A summary of our principles is in the guide “Safety and privacy”.

Speed and convenience

The portal must work fast and smoothly — especially on a phone, which is how most users come in. We optimise page loading, reduce the amount of data and remove everything superfluous that slows things down. The goal is simple: the portal should open instantly and never annoy you with waiting.

Communities and conversation

We develop tools for communities and conversation: easier post creation, better media handling, more thoughtful moderation. Conversation is the heart of KoloPlus and it should be as comfortable as possible.

Economy and play

The game part of the portal — Wallet, Exchange, Arena — develops too. We make the mechanics more transparent, fairer and more interesting, keeping all of it a game of skill without hidden traps. Details are in the guides “Wallet and Exchange” and “Arena”.

Transparency as a principle

We aim to be open about how the portal works. That covers the rules, the economy and monetisation. When we change something that affects the user, we try to explain it honestly and clearly.

Where we are heading

Our long-term goal is unchanged: to make KoloPlus a place where Ukrainians — at home and abroad — are glad and safe to be together. Every update is a small step in that direction. Thank you for being part of this circle.
